Five Year Plan Published
We wanted to thank everyone who could come along to our Five Year Plan & Ballot Launch event last week.
It was fantastic to see the community and our partners come together and network.
We were delighted with your response to our Five Year Plan for our second term. The Plan is now also available on our website. Every business that’s eligible to vote received a copy with their ballot papers last week but if your business isn’t eligible to vote, hasn’t got a copy or would like an extra one, please just let us know and we’ll bring it to you.
Vote ‘YES’
We are now officially in ballot which means that eligible businesses (most businesses with a rateable value of £10,000 and over in the Stirling City Centre) have 6 weeks to cast their votes and decide if they are in favour or against Go Forth representing them for another five years.
If you’re not quite sure how to vote, why not watch these videos where we asked some of our local businesses why they’re voting yes for a second term of the BID. Or better yet, get in touch and one of us will visit you and tell you why it’s good to have Go Forth BID in representing Stirling City Centre businesses.
New Online Courses
There are new online training courses available on our platform which means that you can train your staff further at no cost to your business.
The additions include Level three courses, Natasha’s Law on allergen labelling, understanding RIDDOR (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrence Regulations) and more. You can view a full list of courses available by clicking here.
The essential courses support business owners by covering training costs for employees and more than 2,000 people have enrolled since the initiative was set up two years ago.
