Go Forth Stirling BID Investment
As part of its commitment to creating a safer city centre, Go Forth Stirling BID has funded and installed publicly accessible defibrillators at William Hill, Cowane Street and Central Orthodontics, Dumbarton Road, with further locations being explored.
The BID-funded devices are managed and maintained by Friends of Forth Valley First Responders, helping ensure they remain operational and ready for use when needed.
How to Access a Defibrillator
Many defibrillators are located within secure cabinets. In an emergency:
☎ Call 999 immediately
The emergency operator will:
- Direct you to the nearest available defibrillator.
- Provide any cabinet access code required.
- Talk you through CPR and defibrillator use if needed.
No Training Required
Modern defibrillators are designed for public use and provide clear step-by-step voice instructions once activated.
The device will automatically assess the casualty’s heart rhythm and will only deliver a shock if it is required.
♥ Every minute matters. Early CPR and rapid access to a defibrillator can save lives.
