Go Forth Stirling is a registered limited company that manages Stirling Business Improvement District (BID).

A BID is a geographically defined area where businesses come together and agree to invest collectively, by the means of a mandatory levy (1.25% levy of the rateable value), in projects and services that will improve trading environment.

BID projects do not replace services that are already provided by the local authority or statutory bodies.

A BID term lasts for five years with the bottom-line being that it improves the trading environment and public domain. BIDs are governed by legislation contained in the Local Government Act 2003.

Go Forth Stirling was established in 2017 and it’s currently in its second operating term until 2027.
