Independent Stirling is our initiative that’s all about celebrating and promoting Stirling’s Independent businesses.

Businesses proudly display ‘I’m In’ sticker so they can be easily recognised on our high street.

We have created a dedicated website (visit independentstirling.co.uk) listing all of our unique local independents on an interactive map as well as publishing interesting content and stories about the people running the businesses.

The website also features a gift guide.

We are active on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and LinkedIn.

We create social media content about our members and amplify their reach by sharing their social media posts.

We encourage everyone to tag @GoForthStirling or send us a message so we can help you.

We send monthly newsletters to our non-business subscribers. These newsletters include information about the latest news from the Stirling business community, upcoming events and latest news from Go Forth Stirling.

We have got a regular"Love Stirling City Centre" double-page in Love Local Magazine that's issued every two months.

We also promote Stirling City Centre businesses in various other publications depending on demand.

We create topic specific and timely blog posts featuring different local businesses.

We also write a story for every new business to introduce them and to welcome them to Stirling.

Stirling businesses receive mentions in relevant press releases issued by our organisation.

At times, editors look for specific content for their newspaper which is when we put a call out for stories via our newsletter and social media.

If your business has achieved a big milestone and you want everyone to know about it, our PR professional is able to offer you advice.

We have an established relationship with Central FM and run seasonal adverts all year round.

Events that we deliver or support are designed to attract footfall to our City Centre. We create and distribute materials to events attendees promoting Stirling's businesses including themed trails, promotional videos, maps and other materials.

We promote businesses on our public City Centre Wifi. Businesses can learn more about wifi advertising opportunities here.

We work with our partners to identify & deliver Stirling City Centre marketing opportunities. For example, businesses are encouraged to advertise on Young.Scot or we've previously partnered with First Bus to deliver a tailored promotional campaign targeting their customers.
