Sponsorship Offer for Stirling City Centre Events and Projects

Businesses and community groups who need funding for city centre events and projects are being encouraged to apply for sponsorship.

Go Forth Stirling BID (Business Improvement District) is offering financial support to a limited number of footfall-boosting events with a deadline at the end of August.

We want business owners and individuals to come forward with ideas for initiatives taking place within Stirling’s BID zone from this September to August 2024. An application form is available by emailing admin@goforthstirling.co.uk and submissions will be considered at Go Forth’s next Board meeting.

Danielle McRorie-Smith, Project Director at Go Forth Stirling, said: “We’ve already had several interesting applications and are on the lookout for more so we can support as many projects as possible which fit in with our strategic objectives of increasing footfall and supporting Stirling’s business owners.

Proposed events can be indoors or outdoors and they can be big or small – we are keen to look at a range of ideas which deliver a measurable impact in terms of increasing footfall for BID businesses and benefitting Stirling city centre. And we welcome all kinds of applications as long as the event or project is set =to take place between the start of September 2023 and the end of August 2024 in Stirling city centre.

Any business owner or individual who has an event already planned or an idea for an initiative which is in its early stages can apply for funding. The Go Forth Stirling team will also help plan and shape ideas for events which are in their infancy in addition to supporting already established projects.

Go Forth Stirling BID represents more than 600 business owners with a key objective of increasing visitors to the city and devising initiatives to help make it a more welcoming environment for businesses and shoppers.
