We’re Looking to Sponsor City Centre Events & Projects

We are looking to sponsor city centre events and projects. Business owners and individuals can apply for financial support for projects taking place within Stirling’s BID zone from this September to August 2024. We are aiming to sponsor a limited number of footfall-boosting events and initiatives which align with the organisation’s objectives and will help attract extra visitors into the city.

Promoting Your Businesses to Event Attendees

A number of bigger events are coming to Stirling and we have got the exciting opportunity to directly promote Stirling and all of its businesses to the event attendees. Apart from our digital and print materials promoting Stirling and our business community, we’re looking for anything you’d like us to include.

These can be special offers, themed menus & products, discounts or your own events happening during the events dates, or events that you host in the future that the event attendees might be interested in visiting Stirling again for.

The events coming up are:

  • the World Cycling Championship vents in Stirling (held 9-11 August) – we’ll have a pop up stand at the Expo displaying and distributing all of these materials. We’re also creating a live zone at the bottom of King Street
  • Bloody Scotland (held 15-17 September)
  • The Scottish Album of the Year Award (Thursday 26 October)

Please e-mail us anything that you’d like us to promote or if you have printed materials, let us know and we’ll collect them. If you have any questions, let us know.

Sign Up to Stirling Cocktail Week

Stirling’s first ever cocktail week is coming and we want you to be a part of it!

The campaign will take place between October 6 and 15 and it aims to attract more people to your businesses and help them discover the great variety of bars, restaurants, cafes salons & retailers Stirling has to offer.

The concept is simple: customers purchase wristbands which will unlock unlimited discounted cocktails in Stirling’s favourite bars and restaurants. The wristbands will also include access to exclusive discounts & offers across a range of local businesses.

The event is not just for pubs & bars but for all – coffee shops, beauty businesses, retailers etc and businesses are encouraged to be creative in what they will offer. We will take care of all of the promotion of your businesses!

Cocktail weeks have successfully been introduced in other cities and towns across the UK and resulted in increased footfall and spending. To make the event a success, we need as many businesses to sign up as possible, please get in touch if you’re interested and we get you set up or answer any of your questions. You can also download this presentation to find out more.
