The team at Go Forth Stirling are delighted with the success of the city’s Bloody Scotland international crime writing festival which reached an attendance of more than 10,000 people across the weekend for the first time.
An Alloa woman and her son were presented with a package of fantastic prizes after she won Go Forth Stirling’s Fitness Festival competition.
The annual honours recognise and reward Stirling’s scores of volunteers who dedicate their time to helping others in the community.
Stirling’s popular Landtrain played host to a birthday party when train lover Ross Parker celebrated his special day on board.
The Festival showcased more than 20 activities ranging from BMX and Skateboard Stunt displays by Team Extreme at Forthside to a Rodeo Bronco and Sumo Wrestling in the city centre.
An ambitious Fitness Festival featuring bike stunts, a bungee run, bouncy castles and a climbing wall is being held in Stirling tomorrow.
A radio DJ is set to present his daytime show from Stirling’s popular Landtrain next week in a campaign aimed at promoting the city and its attractions.
The Go Forth Stirling team visited and spoke with 100+ shops and businesses on Tuesday to assess the levels of damage to property and stock and the likely impact to individual businesses ability to trade.
