Level 3 Guidance for Reopening

We have prepared reopening guidance to help you successfully navigate mandatory requirements. The document focuses on travel, hospitality and retail outlets and provides useful advice and support for business owners.

As you’re preparing to re-open, we don’t want you to feel overwhelmed and urge you to contact us if you have questions or need reassurance.

You can find the guidance here.

Introducing Street Stories Stirling

We are very excited to introduce our new project #StreetStoriesStirling. It’s a City Art Trail and Augmented Reality Experience that tells stories of Stirling’s heritage and history.

Each of the 8 artworks is brought to life via interactive Augmented Reality (AR) and forms part of a Trail telling the stories of Stirling’s people, heritage and history via mediums such as mosaic, dance, mural, digital and fluid art.

The project is designed to improve the appearance of vacant shops in the city centre and turn them into exciting points of interest.

You can learn more about the project here and we’d really appreciate it if you could share this video with your followers. We are hoping that as Covid restrictions are lifted, Street Stories will help lure more residents and visitors back to our City Centre.

If you manage to try the Trail yourself, we’d love to hear what you think?

Late Night Shopping Thursdays – Free Parking

Thistles Shopping Centre is putting on a one month trial for FREE parking on Thursdays from 5.30pm, which is when on street parking is free of charge as well. This might be an opportunity for your shops to stay open a little longer to encourage shoppers to come into town on Thursday evenings.

On Sundays, customers can enjoy all day parking in the Thistles for £2 and on street parking if free of charge all day.

There’s more information in the full version of the newsletter from 23/04/2021 here.
