Each artwork is brought to life via interactive Augmented Reality (AR) and forms part of a Trail telling the stories of Stirling’s people, heritage and history via mediums such as mosaic, dance, mural, digital and fluid art.

You have to see this! Check our short video and start planning your visit to the Stirling City Centre.

Download the Street Stories AR App now and discover Stirling’s Street Stories.

Each of the artworks is located in a window of a vacant commercial unit which have now become points of interest. Street Stories is a covid-safe way to explore Stirling and a great idea for a day out with family. What’s more, non-essential businesses are opening on Monday 26th.

If you take the trail and share photos or videos on your social media, please tag us @GoForthStirling or use #StirlingStreetStories so we can see them.

SAY HELLO TO NEW BUSINESSES

INDULGENCE CAFE & BISTRO

Located at 51 King Street (used to be Loving Food), you can now find Indulgence Cafe & Bistro run by a lovely couple. When allowed to fully open, this new indulging place will serve freshly made healthy meals and homemade cakes. Just now they serve takeaway drinks and cakes and they would really appreciate if you could give them a like on Facebook. If you pop in, let them know we sent you.

CAFE AINA

Well alright, not an entirely new business but it’s new to the City Centre. Cafe Aina is a popular greek cafe that offers freshly cooked comfort food and fresh vegan cakes. It caters for both vegans and meat eaters and their souvlaki are to die for. They are now open for takeaway in their new location on 36 King Street (you know that place that used to be Banditos).

These are just a few new businesses that are already open and there are many more opening soon. Can’t wait to learn about them? We have them saved in our highlights on Instagram.

See the newsletter sent to our non-business subscribers 21/04/2021 here.
