Introducing: Street Stories

We are working on a spectacular new vacant units community project called ’Street Stories’, designed to improve the appearance of empty shops in the city centre and turn them into points of interest.

Currenlty, we are looking for Stirling artists to get involved to have their artworks printed on vinyls and featured on eight empty shop windows in Stirling city centre. The artworks will become a trail across the city, and will need to reflect stories from Stirling. Some of these themes could include:

• Innovative achievements of pioneering people from Stirling

• Powerful themes including human rights, the environment, consumerism and identity – all relating to Stirling

• ‘Gateway to the Highlands’ – unknown stories about Stirling

To further enhance the campaign there is an interactive Augmented Reality (AR) twist, and your artworks will be animated and brought to life as an immersive multi-sensory experience, which will be triggered by a free downloadable smartphone app.
If you know any artists who would be interested in submitting their application, please share this information with them.
You can find more information about the project here.

A reminder of an e-commerce grant and online training platform.

And many more helpful resources.

You can access the newsletter sent on Friday 4 December 2020 here.
