An Alloa woman and her son were presented with a package of fantastic prizes after she won Go Forth Stirling’s Fitness Festival competition.
Jackelyn Perez was delighted to win a series of prizes generously donated by local businesses after taking part in a Facebook contest.
The prizes, worth more than £500, included a voucher for Trend Clothing, a Stirling City pass which allows families to visit a variety of top attractions such as Stirling Castle, a Fit Bit from Computer Division and a week’s pass for Go Forth’s popular Landtrain.
Jackelyn and her seven-year-old son Jared were presented with their prizes by Tony I’Anson from the Go Forth Stirling team.

Tony organised the Fitness Festival as part of the BID’s remit to host events which encourage local people into the city centre and attract visitors from further afield.
The free day out featured a host of fun family-friendly activities, including bike stunts from Team Extreme, a Bungee Run, Bucking Bronco, face-painting and a Climbing Wall, based at locations across the city centre.
Jackelyn and Jared had a great time at the Fitness Festival and are looking forward to future events run by the BID.
She said: “We had a brilliant day and thought it was great to have a free event like this on for everybody to come along and enjoy.
“We live in Alloa and often to come into Stirling at the weekend to visit places like The Engine Shed so it was wonderful to see something different going on in the city.
“It was a lovely family event and we had a good day out enjoying lots of rides including the Bungee Run, Surfboard, Big Slide and bouncy castles.
“We also went into the city centre and had a go on the Bucking Bronco, a wander around the town and enjoyed a coffee in one of the local cafes.
“The staff involved with the event were all very friendly and it was nice to see the town busy as I think it’s very important to support the local community and all the small shops.
“It was a great idea and we’d love to see the Festival run again next year!”
Jackelyn added that she was overwhelmed with the package of prizes she received.
She said: “It’s an amazing set of prizes to have won and I’m very grateful to Go Forth Stirling.
“I’m especially pleased with the City Pass as we often visit Stirling attractions like the Wallace Monument – so it’s great to have that.”
