Go Forth Stirling Business Improvement District (BID) invites interest to operate its Land Train under license.
BACKGROUND
Go Forth BID consider a Land Train would be a major visitor attraction and business benefit for the City. It could potentially link various parts of the city, not least the major shopping and eating areas with the Castle.
Over the Easter period 2018 a trial of a Land Train took place over a four day period and in spite of inclement weather the trial was a huge success. The route is broadly agreed and can be discussed with any potential operator but as stated above will link the city to the castle and return.
Go Forth Stirling BID are now looking for an operator to run a permanent Land Train service for them under License.
